SUBARU IMPREZA WRX STI SPEC D - Hawkeye IMPREZA WRX STI-SPEC D For Sale

A 'discreet' version of the STI was made for a more conservative market. It is similar to the Japanese-spec A-Line except it had a regular WRX spoiler on the boot, silver wheels (not Gold) and no rear roof vane. As standard it has projector-style fog lights, Smartnav with touch screen operation, Vehicle Tracker,and safe speed system. A 200W Pioneer DEH-P70BT head unit, iPod adapter and Bluetooth phone connection were also included. The interior featured standard leather trim on the seats and doors, Auto climate control and extra sound insulation. It was limited to a run of 300 cars in only Crystal Grey Metallic so therefore is even rarer than the RB320. Power on this model is rated at 276 bhp (206 kW). It has a 0-60 time of 5 seconds and a top speed of 155 mph (electronically limited). New retail price was £28,450.

These Hawkeye STi impreza's run the 2.5 turbo engine. These give alot more torque than the 2.0 versions and give great overtaking potential.

The engine is totally standard with no silly add ons. 

The 6 speed gearbox is very well matched to the engine and aids the MPG.

I could rave about this car forever, but please spend afew moments on google search engines to find out how great these Spec D cars really are.

As mention above this car is a very honest motor, I have cherished this car since ownership and kept it as my third car in the family.

So i do not take it to supermarkets or multi storey car parks! 

This car is always warmed up in the correct manner and allowed to cool down once used, does not use any oil and mechanically sound.

Like all cars there are some negatives: i am being over critical here but want to give an honest account of the car:

There are some marks on the alloy wheels,

There is a small dent on the rear door, about the size of a 20p. it is not bad but i know its there. (can take pics on request).

I removed the smart nav system as it was rubbish and in the way being fixed to the airvent and looked like a tacky add on. So does not come with the car.

The stereo has a problem holding the radio stations, but works fine via the cd player or ipod cable.

Most people would not even mention these negatives ... but i want you to fully understand what you are buying.

I have reduced the price again of the car from the original £9000 down to £7600, This is due to the market being slow for these cars at present....  so grab yourself a bargain. Look at the prices of the STi hawkeye and see how cheap this one is!. You are also getting a V9 Hawkeye impreza for V8 Blobeye money! This is the lowest price i am willing to accept ... Otherwise i would rather keep it!.
