air con and panels/glass are lighter. Roof vent on roof as standard. Currently on 72K, believed genuine. Some history not all. Just prior to my purchase a brand new genuine Subaru short engine complete with forged pistons. This was done at 60K. I bought car with paddle clutch slipping so had an Excedy Twin Plate clutch fitted rated to 750 bhp. (Retail price was £1750) I also had fitted new DBA cross drilled discs and high rated Mintex pads. Billstein suspension already fitted was up for the job. Front end polybushed. I also fitted at the same time an Apexi Power Commander FC to replace the stadard ECU with a piggy back ECU and also to complement this an Apexi Turbo Boost Controller. Sytec fuel regulator, front mounted intercooler, recent exchange TD05 Turbo, Yokohama Advan tyres, original wheels refurbished and are still immaculate. Full 3" stainless steel exhaust with decat pipe fitted, comes with cat. M3 type mirrors. Morett twin headlight conversion. Fibreglass carbon look bonnet fitted but I have an original alumium RA bonnet with a small dent to go with car. Never got round to get it painted and fitted. New Denso Iridium plugs fitted and new hiperformance oil to be changed this weekend. Exhaust manifolds are equal lengh so does not have the big off beat thrum of standard cars but this releases abut 15 BHP for nothing and is used in rally cars. Still obviously sounds like a Subaru. Turbo timer also fitted. Overall weight of the car is 1100kg. | When I bought car it had 340 bhp with a dyno printout to prove. Felt exceptionally quick even with slipping clutch and very nimble. Once the modifications were completed the car then became a huge step quicker. With the turbo boost controller the turbo can be set to come in a lot earlier at lower revs and in boost higher at higher revs totally transforming the way it drives. I have not had it on a rolling road but would not be surprised if it was over 400 bhp. This car is so eager to drive fast that it is hard to drive within the speed limits. One of the reasons I am selling. I have other projects on the go and need the room and money. My wife hates it and will not drive it as it is noisy and the clutch is quite heavy. Not very handy. | BAD BITS | Obviously with a 16 year old car there will be imperfections. Underneath very fresh and top very fresh. Car had been rust free when imported in 2002. Been undersealed. Roof, rear and passenger side all mint apart from very minor ding on rear wing which is only visible once pointed out. Drivers side there is a dink on drivers door which can be seen in photo, bottom of filler cap starting to show some exterior rust from touching it with fuel pump. Rear wing has corrosion starting at the rear of the arch which is only just visible and paint has not been broken. Front wing has corrosion starting at the front of the arch but again paint not broken. Bottom rear of the wing/sill has some minor surface rust which I rubbed down and painted but is starting to be visible again. Very minor indeed and not noticeable till you look hard. Front bumper has been changed and replace with roughish one but has had to have been butchered for intercooler. Original one probably taken off and sold. | Engine very sound, no smoking and engine rattle free, as it should be. Gearbox recently replace with very sound s/h unit. Rear diff perfect. Sounds as though the diff is noisy but it is actually the tyres which are noisy. I tried other wheels back on and it went quiet again. Power steering pump leaks slightly and oil runs down onto exhaust. Not a problem if used regularly. Had it reconditioned but no difference. Apparently best cure is fitting a pump from newer model which is much better and only a small mod required to fit. Had a problem last year when the lambda probe wires melted onto exhaust. Would not run properly after fitting new probe and changed several components. Eventually found that the "short" in the electrics had wiped the map on the Apexi and all the settings were completely wrong. Re-loaded map and all brand new again apert from solonoid for turbo boost controller. When ignition switched on it was running all the time. Replaced with brand new one but still the same. Once engine started then it is perfect but just a bit noisier than usual but works great. | I have been very honest and as accurate as I can. Check my 100% Feedback, I want to keep it that way. I have spent a small fortune on the car and had some fantastic drives. Been very lucky still to have my licence. As I said earlier I have other things on the go and want to move on. I was quoted £100 to get it sprayed in. It has no rips or tears and from a non smoker. It has no rust at all. miles. Service history & pack. MOT - Nov. Tax - May. I bought the car in 2007 as a damaged repairable Cat C with only 4000 miles on the clock. It only required N/S sill replacement and N/S/R lateral links. Genuine Subaru parts where used, and the body repair & paint was done professionally. Whilst in the bodyshop I had both side skirts deleted as I don`t like the look of them. I`ve also fitted early type front seats (2002) as I found the later air bag seats very bouncy & unsupportive. I rarely use the car, if fact it sat in my garage for over 18 months unused hence I`ve now decided to sell it. There is a minor scratch on the lower front airdam and mileage related stonechips, however due to it`s low mileage it is generaly in excellent condition, and drives perfectly. Any inspection welcome. seats, 3x3 point rear seat belts, Alarm, Front fog lights, Drivers airbag. | good looking car, i had the roof vent, and back window spoiler fitted myself too give the car a more of a better sportier look, | The back window spoiler could do with a new, but looks ok as it is, I also added the decals which i think look rather good. | It has mud flaps, but it has lost one, so only has the 3 on the car at the minute. It has a dump valve, which sounds rather nice. | There are a few minor little dents ( not very noticeable ) on the front passenger side from where our other car door used to touch it on our small driveway. | The alloys do have some scuffs, but nothing too major. I`m just being honest and listing everything i can think off. | MOT expires 7th December 2012, and Tax expires July 2012.
