and responsive despite the milage. Recent oil change (as always with an impreza), tires are probably over half worn, MOT till June I think and tax till November. The car is very much unmodified apart from the rear exhaust silencer, which is fairly sensible (see photo). I tihnk its been well cared for in its lifetime, with the 6 month servicing always ahead of the milage. Paintwork is good, but not blemish free, I did some waxoiling underneath before winter, and its generally very solid underneath. Returns 30-32 mpg on A roads (record was 34.5!), but its easy to do less! Tidy interior, seats are great and its fitted with a factory 6 cd changer. Selling as it was always to be a short term car, I took my old golf off the road for some work and have longed to see what an Impreza is like! So ive scratched that itch and need to concentrate on the golf once more... Although i`ll have another some time, its fantastic. more powerful 280bhp as standard and as such perform better than uk version making them more sought after. This particular car was then upgraded by Graham Goode Racing (GGR) in Leicester when only a few months old. Upgrades included; GGR full stainless de-cat exhaust including high flow sport cat at front. Very similar to prodrive exhaust. GGR induction kit. GGR water injection system, tank in boot. Remap to suit mods giving approx 320-330bhp, and similar torque figures. GGR uprated brakes front and rear with braided lines. GGR gauge pod on dash. I have been in Graham Goode`s to check cars background and they confirmed all above with this vehicle still on their computer records. They estimate 0-60 in approx 4.5 seconds and it definately feels it! My previous sti was a 2003 blobeye with blitz nur spec-r, and this one feels much much faster throughout rev range. In December 2007, API Engines, (subaru specialist) did an engine rebuild with forged pistons, costing £3300. I have receipt for this and several subsequent service receipts. they did not plumb the water injection system back in but left it blanked off, or they would not give warranty on rebuild. however, this does not effect performance at all but if you were to do track days or continued fast road use it would be advisable to re-instate. GGR will do this and check correct operation if you require, as i already checked with them. I dont feel it neccessary for the use it currently gets, and hasnt been a problem in the 4 years since rebuild. The car is in good condition all round considering age but has a few small dinks and scratches consistant with age and miles. The worse of which is some rust bubbling on the rear arch which seems to be common on cars of this age. I have a quote for £170 to do this at PAINT WRX. The drivers seat bolster is also slightly worn, again common, and has been stitched about 2 inches but not really noticeable. I am being very honest with my description but these points dont detract from the cars overall appearance. Mechanically everything is fine. Engine obviously, tyres all good, exhaust good. Recently had new drop links fitted, new oversize alloy radiator, new battery, new grooved discs and performance friction pads, all in last 18 months/10k miles. I have old mots to warrant mileage and various receipts for work done. Car also has top Clifford alarm/immobiliser with black jax anti hijack and traffic master tracker subscribed New owner will definately not be disapointed as this car drives superb. Acceleration is phenominal at any speed. No idea what top speed is but would estimate over 160mph with ease! Serious enquiries only please, no test pilots. i have own and can say that its with out doubt the best. If i didn`t have to sell it then there would be no way i would be, but sadly new company means all luxury`s have to go. The car still feels tight as a drum (gearbox, engine etc) with the engine sounding the best i have heard. The car has never been modified or messed around with so should stay trouble free for probably the same mileage again. It comes with loads of service history old Mot etc. It was lasted serviced in august 4000 miles ago including spark plugs and rocker head cover. MOT at the same time when 2 new front tyres where fitted and i`m sure will fly though the next one. The interior still looks amazing and the same with the exterior only the odd stone chip which are hardly noticeable. will stuggle to find a fault with it. It has covered less than 52,000 miles and come with all subaru provenance and history. It comes with the prodrive certificate for the factory prodrive performance pack which give the car over 300 bhp and it pulls extremely well throughout the gears. It has PPF7 18 inch alloys recently refurbished in anthracite and excellent tyres, i feel they give the car a more unique and aggresive look. This car also comes with the Prodrive suspension, Prodrive exhaust (sounds awesome), blue mudflaps, STI carpet mats, Subaru cat 1 alarm, HPI report and a Tracker! It has 17" alloys with virtually new 225 section tyres fitted. There is no evidence of rust or noticeable paintwork damage that we can see. | The interior of the car is also in excellent condition, with no rips or tears to the upholstery or carpets, and no pronounced wear on the seats. There is a retractable load cover fitted to the rear luggage area. | It has all the usual turbo model extras - 4 electric windows, electric mirrors, headlamp washers etc. It has a Momo steering wheel as can be seen in the photos. There is a radio/CD fitted. | The central locking/immobiliser/alarm is activated by an infra red keyfob. | Mechanically, the car goes just as you would imagine. Everything works as it should, and to say that it`s fun to drive would be an understatement! We have some limited service history with the car, along with the various handbooks etc. | It is also fitted with a certified tracker device, which can help substantially with the insurance. with it. It had the Cam belt changed July 2010 along with a stainless steel back box. Car has had an oil change in the last 1000 miles along with new drop and anti roll bar links. Impreza wheels recently powder coated white in very good condition. Tyres all have good tread. Very nice to drive and being a non-turbo, very reasonable insurance and obviously better economy. Handles very well and being a 4 wheel drive can come in very handy when it starts to snow. Only real faults are that the front passenger window has been replaced with one off a sti and has the brown Japanese tint, and also the left hand back door only opens from the outside? Sure it’s an easy fix but it’s never really bothered me so never got round to looking at it. Interior generally very good but does have a nick on the door card from the previous owner. Body in good condition no visible rust that I have found but has a few stone chips and scratches which have touched up buy the previous owner but are only visible when the car is gleaming. Stainless steel straight through exhaust with Genuine HKS Headers (purchased from Rodger Clarke Motorsport) and K and N air filter STi gearbox fitted but also supplied with original close ratio DCCD box, diff and wiring (stripped and checked by Paul at Zen) Aftermarket suspension but also supplied with original Four pot brakes (330mm brembo`s also available by negociation) Sparco seat with four point harness Spares package includes another STi RA closed deck block and heads, doors, diffs, driveshafts, wishbones, bumper and many other parts I cant think of! 555 number plate included in sale Cat 1 Alarm I finished building this car a year ago with the intention of using it as a track car at my local circuit (Snetterton). Since then I have not even done 100 miles in it. It never got to see the track. The engine came out of my road going STi, since it was rebuilt it has only done approx 6k. It has always been treated with respect, Silkoline Pro oil every 2k or every 12 months, always warmed up and cooled down correctly. Oil and boost pressure is exactly as you would expect from a newly rebuilt engine. In the five years of owning this engine it has never, not once, missed a beat. Impresive stuff thanks to David at API. Pictures of the build, reciepts for the engine rebuild and a folder of reciepts come with the car. Cat 1 alarm fitted to keep the insurance company happy, relatively cheap to insure believe it or not. Massive spares package available if required. The shell has been waxy oiled underneath so no rot. car for the past 13 months and has been an absolute joy to own. In that time however we have covered less than 2000 miles so with such little use the car is now reluctantly up for sale. This car is a completely standard Impreza WRX SL which has the full black leather interior which is like new (front heated seats). The car has completed a mere 34,986 miles. The low mileage is supported by a Full Service History (All Subaru except the last one which was carried out by a specialist) and all Mot`s etc. The car was supplied new by Tiley of Bristol on the 12th June 2004 at a cost of £22596.00 (Invoice included). The last service (50k) was completed in March 2011 at 33241miles (1700 miles ago). This included the all important cambelt change. The car has Michelin Pilot Sport 3 tyres all round which have plenty of life left in them. There is a Subaru Cat 1 Alarm and Tracker fitted.
