has been fitted with the Prodrive Performance Pack on 15-10-2004 with a certificate of authenicity. This pack includes extras such as Brembo Calipers, recalibrated ECU, High capacity fuel pump to support the extra power and to help get the extra power and torque on the road 18" Prodrive PPF7 Gunmetal lightweight wheels are fitted with goodyear tyres all round with lots of tread. To increase the power from the prodrive spec the car has been fitted with a full Fujibitsu exhaust from turbo back and then the ecu was recalibrated by FB tuning to ensure the car is running at its optimum performance. The addition of these parts and remap take the performance from the quoted 305bhp from the prodrive remap to a proven 330bhp. Along with the prodrive pack the car is fitted with all the usual STI refinements such as Central Locking, Electric Windows, Electric Mirrors, ABS, Air Conditioning, Power Steering, Drivers Airbag, Passenger Airbag, Alarm, Immobiliser, Cd player, isofix rear attachments. The car has stamped service history book by subaru dealerships and will also be serviced before it goes to its new owner. I cannot emphasize how reliable and genuine this impreza is. It is different from the stereo typically abused/raced subaru and needs to be viewed to be appreciated. The car has 11 months MOT (6th March 2013) and Tax until the end of May 2012. The interior is completely standard and unmarked. Apart from the odd very very tiny car park ding that is to be expected on a car of this age and slight laquer peel on a couple of wheels there is absolutly no damage anywhere on the car. After 7 years of ownership its time to sell what has been my ongoing project and pride and joy, as its my 2nd car/toy i just dont get chance to use it enough and seems a shame as it is a stunning and fantastic motor. but due to wanting to invest the money elsewhere I am advertising it now to give someone else the lucky opportunity to enjoy it. It took me 3 months to find `the one` and seems silly to sell up before the summer but needs must!The car is a 54 Plate registered in January 2005 and is HPI clear, no outstanding finance and any inspections of the vehicle are welcome. This car has never been knocked or damaged and is in excellent condition.The car was used as my daily for a couple of months as my place of work was only 7 miles from home and as expected it never missed a beat and was a joy to drive. I`ve done a couple of motorway trips in the car and its surprisingly comfortable for a car that was rally-bred!! The car is always warmed up properly and kept off boost for the first few miles and also warmed down properly. 95% of the time has been run on V-Power, struggled to find for a week during the strikes! :(The mileage is roughly 48k now, this is not expected to rise much as the car is not driven daily, it is warmed up regularly though to clear any residue. The car is due an annual service in July/August however I have changed the oil/filter and changed coolant myself since owning the car and i`ve recently had the brake pads all round changed.I do usually like to service cars myself so I know whats been done but as the car has a Full service history at present however I may change the oil (10w50 Millers semi synthetic) and filter again before the car is sold just to keep everything fresh for the new owner.The car was MOT`d last month with no advisories and Taxed until the end of June.The cam belt has already been changed with reciepts to prove.PAINTWORK:The car has NEVER been touched by a local car wash since i`ve owned it and the paint is in fantastic condition with just one small mark and one or two tiny pin dinks in the bodywork which are barely noticeable. The under-body is in excellent condition and not showing any signs whatsoever of wear. Hinges and lock mechanisms are greased and oiled regularly also.INTERIOR:The interior is immaculate with no rips/tears or worn bolsters as you may find on similar cars. The rear seats have rarely been used since i`ve owned the car.ENGINE BAY:The engine bay is regularly given a clean and has some minor engine bay dressing in the form of blue silicone hosing and polished stainless covers as shown in the pictures.The car has had been fitted with a few subtle modifications:-The car was fitted with a `Forge` atmospheric wastegate but I have since had the standard OEM part fitted, the Forge part can be included in the sale and is very easy to fit.The car has been fitted with various PPP upgrades including Prodrive front splitter, red silicone hose in engine bay to replace the plastic OEM part and fast road PPP uprated fuel pump.The car was professionally live mapped by Zen Performance Wellingborough in 2008 on a `Dastek` dyno. This consisted of a Ecutek remap, an Ecutek license which also obtained in order to carry out the work. The remap took the power from the standard output of 259.2bhp (as shown on printout) to a healthy figure of 320bhp which is a further kick on from the Prodrive map which achieves a 305bhp final output. The car comes with paperwork to prove the claimed power of 320bhp, which matches the power output of the JDM spec model.The car is currently fitted with a Vortex stainless with decat exhaust system (1 of 2 cats removed).AESTHETICS:The car has been lowered on Tein lowering springs (30mm AFAIK) which sets the height off really well on the 18" wheels.The car is fitted with privacy glass which as you would expect is a nice touch to a car that does attract attention.The car is currently fitted with 18" OZ Ultraleggera Alloys with 225 40 18 tyres all round and can be included in the sale. I`ve just had 2 Michelin Pilot Exalto`s fitted to the front (05/05/12). The wheels are all in excellent condition. I have the original 17" Multispoke Gold STi wheels that will be included in the sale. I will be putting 4 brand new tyres on the car before it goes. back 3in bore i think, tdo5 turbo , 17in wheels in black , shortshifter , front and rear strut braces , big rear wing , bailey dump valve . speedo now reads mph and has limiter removed ! im unsure of exact mileage as when i brought the car it mileometer was reading in kilometers ,it read 151k and i have probably only covered 2k in it since ive owned it so its probably about 95k miles . i changed the clocks for ones that read in mph and removed the limiter the new clocks read up to 160mph (the old ones only read up to 110mph ! ). since i have had it i have replaced lots of parts its had a new exceddy clutch , new timing belt kit ( replaces tensioner and pulleys ) water pump ,thermostat. it deloped a rattle from a couple of tappets so i removed the engine to replace all of them ! whilst it was out i decided to replace the headgaskets as these are common on these ,so it had headgaskets ,headbolts, camshaft oil seals, exhaust gaskets , crankshaft oil seal ,rocker gaskets. i have copys of most of the invoices for parts i have replaced which add up to over £800 and thats at trade prices ! its also had coolant changed engine oil changed ,gearbox and diff oil changed . new plugs and fuel filter. it has mot until jan i belive but no tax ( can tax at buyers expense ) it starts with no rattles or smoke and dose not overheat. boosts fine set to about 1 bar and would estimate power at 260-270 bhp. bad points, not long after the new tappets were fitted it has developed a rattle only when it is up to temperature its fine when cold and started from cold and if you turn it off for a few mins once its up to temperature it when you start it up again it wont rattle for a min but will then start rattleing again ! it sounds like a tappet rattling and is on the drivers side of engine so i would of thought that there is a problem with one , i still have old ones which will go with car. they can be changed with engine in the car so someone who knows a bit about cars could probably sort it fairly easily with not much cost ! theres a couple of fag burns in front seats and theres a few small car park dents and scratches nothing major. the front bumper sticks out a little on the passenger side and the centre lower grill has been cut out which has never bothered me as i was going to replace it and fit a front mount intercooler ;) . im selling as i have another project on the go and have lost interest in this and im not able to spend anymore time or money fixing it . so somebody is going to get a bargin ! ive probably forgot a few things so any questions just ask. veiwings welcome but i will need proof of insurance before i let you drive ! im possibly looking for something different like a mk2 mr2, volvo t5, bmw so may buy yours if you buy mine ;) no stupid offers please ! thanks for looking X | £1500.00 | |||||||

2007, it has been used as a second car only covering approx 45,000 km in nearly 5 years, the mileage is just over 100,000km This is a very reluctant sale but the time has come to get a sensible family car! The car is very reliable and is in good condition for a 14 year old car. It is taxed and mot`d, has electric windows and door mirrors and sunroof, toad cat 1 alarm and immobiliser, 2x Keys & 2x Alarm Fobs, GAB adjustable coilover suspension, AC which is ice cold, Lexus style rear lights with fog light & angel eye headlights & stainless Exhaust. Engine is completely standard and hasn`t been messed with and it`s a very quick car The interior has no rips or tears and no marks on the roof lining. I bought a replacement wing which will supplied with car but just never got around to having it painted and fitted. It only required N/S sill replacement and N/S/R lateral links. Genuine Subaru parts where used, and the body repair & paint was done professionally. Whilst in the bodyshop I had both side skirts deleted as I don`t like the look of them. I`ve also fitted early type front seats (2002) as I found the later air bag seats very bouncy & unsupportive. I rarely use the car, if fact it sat in my garage for over 18 months unused hence I`ve now decided to sell it. now is the time for a change for me, so my faithful friend has to go.When I first bought it back in November 2003, it had 50k on the clock, and now has just over 125k, so I can vouch for the reliability of the car for the better part of it`s life - which has been excellent. I can also say that it still goes and stops as well as it did originally, and drives great.The bodywork is generally good for the age, but there are a few dings and scrapes as you might expect for are car this age - including the usual stone chips on the bonnet and front bumper, and a dent to the passenger side wing and front door (which I have shown in the photos), which would probably need replacing in order to put it right. The drivers door has also been keyed unfortunately (again photographed)The interior is in overall very good condition for the age - with only minor wear marks on the drivers seat and steering wheel, and some very light scuffs on the dashboardThe alloys are in very good condition - with only minor scuffs, and no heavy curbing.All four tyres were replaced about 8 months ago, and have only done about 4k miles since.The after-market head unit pictured in the interior shot is not included in the sale as I will be putting the original Subaru double din unit back in before sale.At the moment there is an after-market exhaust backbox and centre section fitted - which produces that lovely Subaru burble, but I still have the original Subaru exhaust which can be put back on if the buy prefers.The car also has the much nicer headlights from the STI model fitted - which greatly improve the look of the front end - these alone cost me £400Most of the service intervals have a Subaru stamp in the book, and I have some receipts for other work done more recently including the radiator, water pump, clutch and battery.The car is taxed and MOT`d until August.I have priced the car to reflect the mileage and condition.Buyer will need to collect the car from Pinner.Cash on collection please. and affordable` dream car. I couldn`t resist this one when a member of the Subaru club I`m part of decided to sell up due to buying a bug STI. However, plans didn`t go to plan when I found that unless you are a millionaire, you cannot insure an Impreza under 21 so I have decided to sell up instead of letting it sit around for 18 months.Now, before I start you may have noticed the high number of previous owners. As far as I know a couple were in the same family, but don`t let this put you off. It will be hard to find another Turbo 2000 in this condition.The previous owner has built up receipts of thousands in work carried out. One receipt alone cost over £900 for a full service and cambelt replacement in 2009. Service history is complete up to 2011 and over the last 3 years the car has only covered around 5000 miles.I have pretty much just taxed it too so there is about 5 months left on that, and the MOT has been carried out on the 17th of May so that now runs to May 2013 with no advisories. The bodywork has the usual stonechips on the front end, and there is a small amount of rust starting to bubble on the back arches. There has been bodywork repairs carried out but it looks like a professional job that is hard to notice. I have receipts for the bodywork. The interior has the leather option although this was not original. I fitted the door cards after I bought the car and the seats were already in, and inside it is in pretty good condition through out. There is still wear but it the car is heading for 15 years old and there is a large hole in the drivers footwell carpet but it has mats covering that. Another point to note is the side windows have some scratching, drivers being the worst. I guess this is from the mechanism but the windows still work fine.Security wise, it has a thatcham cat 1 alarm fitted by Subaru. There is a certificate for this job being carried out and it also has a deadlock system for the gearbox. Again, there is a paperwork for this and it should help with insurance.Modifications are kept to a minimum having only subtle changes. The front suspension has been lowered 30mm and the back 40mm on springs. There will be a spare set of rear 30mm springs supplied if you wish to match it. The exhaust has be changed too. It has a cat back Blitz spec nur system on it with a 5 inch tail pipe. Also supplied will be the bung that bolts into the tip that is required if you like your ear drums. If not then it creates a gorgeous trademark burble from the 2 litre boxer. The engine also runs sweet with no knocking, which is a common fault with the Imprezas and gearbox operates smoothly. Although when it`s cold, there is very slight clutch judder and the gearbox tends to whine slightly but this doesn`t affect the performance. It has newage 17`` alloys which are in good condition, and just before I bought it the front calipers hand an overhaul and were sprayed white with and the discs were renewed with new Godspeed grooved discs. It has got a few issues being 13 years old but it is a very clean car inside and out. If you want to modify her then there is a perfect blank canvas but I would keep it fairly standard as there can`t be that many unmolested examples out there. I know the previous owner looked after her and it`s exactly what it needs again. Someone with a bit of time and a bit of money to make this something special.I`m sure I have left a fair amount out but I have tried to be as honest as I can and I will get round to uploading a few more photos. with heavy heart she`s up for sale. Imported in 2008, it came with paperwork/receipts for this. It didn`t have much service history at the time other than receipt for a service, a receipt for a custom built one piece exhaust from downpipe back and registration and import documents. Since I`ve been caring for her she has been serviced at the correct intervals by myself which included oil and filter change every five/six months. I changed gear oil, fuel filter when I got her. A year ago I had the rear calipers reconditioned by Godspeed Brakes, as one had seized and replaced discs and pads at same time. Last December I had front calipers done for same reason. Again pads and discs done too. I also put braided hoses on too. So, she stops good and sudden now!! The engine has never missed a beat, its still fairly young I guess with 88000mls! Never a problem in MOTs. My first, just needed fog light putting on as it was missing. Most recent one nothing at all. One advisory which is rear tyres will need replacing at some point. Which I thought was the case anyway. It is getting due for a big service soon, I may get it done, or some of it by time she is bought if I get chance.Now list of mods etc;One piece custom exhaust from downpipe back.Speedo converted to mph. (Tachometer now reads in miles but I did note down number when converted so can be worked out)Metal air filter cone.Aftermarket dump valve. Not to loud.HKS earthing kit.Braided brake hoses.Carbon fibre mini induction scoop.Clifford Concept 650 alarm with certificate + two fobsHad a new windscreen put in when purchased.Aftermarket steering wheel. Bit worn now.New radiator a year ago.That`s it I think...A good semi-standard imported STI. Ideal as a base for a tuner or whoever wishes to enjoy her coming years. For she will have many...Now the few bad bits...She is 14 years old so does have the odd stone chip and scuff. Nothing massive. More annoying really. Easily fixable. Sold as seen. it due to needing a larger vehicle for family reasons. The car has approximately 97,000 miles . The clock shows 100,300 miles which will rise as it is still used daily. The reason for this is not long after the car was imported the clocks were changed from one with 59,897 on for a set with 63,130 miles. Of course the original clocks could of been km`s which would equate to low 80,000`s but I am not sure.The car has been sensibly upgraded in power to 280 bhp from the fitting of a larger td05 turbo , walbro 255 fuel pump , k & n induction kit , s/s exhaust cat-back ( though I do have the bell mouth down pipe to de-cat) and a modified ecu. The modification to the ecu sets the car up properly for uk grade fuel rather than jap 100 ron, as well as benefitting from a very proficient power upgrade. 6 Months ago I also fitted a gearbox and matching rear diff from a later model UK car which gives the car a wider ratio 5th gear for better cruising economy. New clutch at the same time.The exhaust though partly fitted is a complete system with the back and middle sections being magnex - from memory(around £400 new) and sounds beefy without being too shouty like the cheaper tinnier exhausts. ( bellmouth downpipe included in sale)Points to note that I was intending to carry out if I was able to keep.The rocker cover gaskets are weeping , quite common on these. The parts are approx £40 and its about 2hr job.The turbo has a rattle when off boost( play in shaft?) However it still pulls fine with no smoke and I have a replacement TD05 and turbo gasket ready for fitting which will come with the car.There is also a hole appearing in the standard downpipe. As this is close to the lamda it sometimes causes the check engine light to illuminate when started near warm.Also there is a small crack in the front splitter bumber from a tree root raised edging kurb in a dimly lit cricket club car park - grrr.The car has a cat 1 alarm and immobiliser , unfortunately recently the solenoid to operate the locks from the alarm fob seized. I have removed it as it made the mechanism stiff and is easily replaceable and costs around £17.I still have the original to source a replacement if it was to be reinstated.Well I have been pretty honest as you can see and though I realise there are a few things that need attention this car is a running vehicle still used daily and I believe is still worth some value as I could get a good amount if I broke and sold.Please appreciate this is an 18 year old car but in my view still looks tidy - odd small trolley ding. The imports seem to hold up body work wise better than the early uk ones.Some history and receipts, mots from import. HPI report when I bought it and there have been no incidents in my ownership. It has a dump valve, which sounds rather nice. | There are a few minor little dents ( not very noticeable ) on the front passenger side from where our other car door used to touch it on our small driveway. | The alloys do have some scuffs, but nothing too major. I`m just being honest and listing everything i can think off. | MOT expires 7th December 2012, and Tax expires July 2012.
